Easter Crafts: Ducks in a Nest

This darling duck is a fun and easy craft for your preschoolers to do to get in the Easter spirit.

Duck's in a Nest

Materials:

  • Yellow pompoms (2 sizes)
  • Easy Felt (from craft stores)
  • Thin ribbon
  • Egg carton
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • Green construction paper
  • Tempera paint or markers

Cut duck's feet, wings, tail and a beak from orange Easy Felt.

Glue the larger yellow pompom onto the feet, and then glue on the wings and tail.

Make the duck's head from the smaller yellow pompom, by gluing on googly eyes and the felt beak.

Glue the head to the body and let dry.

To create the duck's nest, cut out one "cup" from an egg carton.

Decorate the cup with markers or paint.

Shred green construction paper and use it to fill the egg cup.

Tie a ribbon around the duck's neck and place it on the nest.
