Easter Crafts: Easter Bunny Candy Jar
If your children are hopping around trying to find something to do this Easter holiday, why not direct their energy towards this cheerful Easter craft.
Easter Bunny Candy Jar
Materials:
- Plastic Easter egg
- Small plastic jar
- Easy Felt (craft stores)
- Pompoms (assorted sizes)
- Glue or hot glue gun
- Googly eyes
Trace a circle the size of the jar's top onto a piece of Easy Felt.
Glue the felt circle onto the jar top.
Next, open the plastic Easter egg and put aside the smaller half.
Glue the larger half of the egg, open side down, to the top of the lid (on the felt). This will be the bunny's head.
Cut two large bunny ears from white Easy Felt and then two smaller ears from pink Easy Felt.
Glue the pink felt inside the white, then glue the ears onto the bunny's head.
Next, glue two tiny white pompoms onto the bunny's face. These are the bunny's cheeks.
Then, glue a tiny pink pompom just above the cheeks. This is the bunny's nose.
Cut two small teeth from white Easy Felt and glue them just bellow the cheeks.
Glue on the googly eyes.
Glue a larger white pompom onto the back of the jar to make the bunny's tail.
Cut bunny feet and hands from Easy Felt.
Glue the feet to the bottom of the jar and the hands to the front.
Finally, fill the jar with treats, such as jelly beans or chocolate eggs.
