Castle
A craft from the Crazy Crafts DVD Collection
Materials:
- Lid from big cardboard box
- Marker
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- 3 toilet paper rolls
- 3 pointed paper cups
- Paint
- Wool
- Tape
Draw castle drawbridge, crenellated towers and brick lines on one side of box lid.
Cut out castle, including sides of lid about 10 cm from bottom.
Cut out curve of drawbridge, but not bottom so it will open.
Small towers:
Cut slit in bottom of toilet paper roll on each side.
Glue toilet paper roll inside pointed paper cup to make small tower.
Using slits, slide small towers unto top of castle.
Cover drawbridge with construction paper & draw vertical lines on it for boards.
Cut windows from construction paper and glue to front of castle and small towers.
From inside lid, tape piece of yarn to each side of drawbridge at top.
Open drawbridge and tape other end of yarn to inside of lid so drawbridge can open.
