Dragonfly

A craft from the Crazy Crafts DVD Collection

Materials:

  • bristol board
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • tissue paper
  • glue
  • construction paper
  • pom pom

Lay closed pair of scissors on Bristol board.

Trace all around scissor handles with pencil.

Flip over scissors so handle and blade end are reversed and trace. Make sure large handle is opposite traced large handle.

Cut out tracings and glue tissue paper over holes in handles. This makes the wings.

Roll construction paper rectangle around pencil to make body.

Remove pencil and tape paper to hold tightly rolled.

Squeeze one end shut and tape to hold.

Tape wings across body slightly closer to open end of body.

Stick pom pom in open end of body for head.
