Ferry Boat

A craft from the Crazy Craft DVD Collection

Materials:

• Flat box
• Construction paper
• Pipe cleaners
• Drinking straws
• Pencil
• Smaller box
• Cardboard
• Glue
• Craft stick
• Pointed paper cup

Poke holes along the two long sides of flat box.

Cut slits in one end of each drinking straw piece.

Insert drinking straw pieces into holes in box. The slits should be on top.

Lay pipe cleaners into straw slits on side of box to create railing.

Wrap smaller box with construction paper to make wheelhouse.

Glue cardboard windows and door on smaller box.

Poke hole in top of box with pencil.

Insert craft stick in hole for smokestack.

Cut out little notch on small piece of drinking straw for whistle.

Glue tip of pointed paper cup over top of straw.

Slide this whistle on top of smokestack.

Tape wheelhouse to top of boat.

Cut two rectangles of cardboard for ramps and tape to open ends of boat.
