Ghost Costume

A Halloween Party Planner craft

Materials:

  • White sheet
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread/yarn
  • Glue

Cut a hole in the center of a white sheet big enough for your head to fit through and drape it over your neck, or drape it over your head and cut out hole for you to see out. (make sure you take the sheet off your head before cutting out the eye holes).

Have someone cut along the bottom of the sheet so it lies just above your shoes (so you don't trip!).

Have him/her stand with his/her arms extended, and using a large needle and white yarn or string, put a few stitches in the sheet about six inches to a foot under each arm to keep it from slipping off.

Use the scraps of sheet you have left to make your ghost costume "ragged" looking by tearing strips, draping them over the shoulders of the costume, and gluing them in place.

Options: Wear an old hat. Paint your face white with dark circles around your eyes. For an even neater effect, sprinkle baby powder in your hair.
