A craft from the Crazy Crafts DVD Collection
Materials:
- Small cereal box
- Construction paper
- Paper towel roll
- Paint
- Scissors
- Marker
- 6 beads
- 3 big elastic bands
- Clothes pin
- Cardboard
- Glue
Stick paper towel roll inside open end of cereal box so it sticks out for guitar neck.
Cut three slits through top of paper towel roll.
Draw lines across front of paper towel for frets.
Glue construction paper circle to front of cereal box
Put elastic band through each pair of slits on paper towel roll and stretch around bottom of cereal box.
Slide clothes pin under elastic bands below paper circle to raise elastic bands above surface of box .
Cut two strips of cardboard and glue three beads on each strip.
Glue strip to each side of paper towel roll near top for tuning pegs.
To make sound, strum elastic bands on front of guitar.
To change sound, press down elastic bands at top at different frets.
