Ni Hao, Kai-lan Snowflake Tree Topper
Top the tree with a delicate snowflake cut from craft foam and embellished with a sparkling gem.
Supplies:
Kai-lan's Snowflake Tree Topper template
White craft foam
Blue flower-shaped self-adhesive gem
Flat dowel, about 8 to 10 in. in length
Green and white tempera paint (optional)
Clear-drying fabric glue, such as MagicTac
Directions:
Step 1
Print Kai-lan's Snowflake Tree Topper template. Use it to trace and cut out the snowflake.
Step 2
Stick the gem to its center.
Step 3
Paint the bottom of the dowel green so it will blend with your tree. If the reverse side of the topper will be visible, you can paint it white to disguise the dowel. Glue the dowel to the back of the topper.
