Swiper Santa Hat
He may think he's fooling everyone around him, but those ears give away his secret. It's Swiper, not Santa, coming right down the chimney!
Supplies:
Store-bought Santa hat
Printable ear templates
Orange felt
Pink felt
Cardstock
Fabric glue
Directions:
Step 1
Print the templates and use them to cut out outer ear pieces from the orange felt and inner ear pieces from the pink felt. Also, using the inner ear templates, cut two shapes from cardstock.
Step 2
Glue the pink pieces to the orange pieces, sandwiching the cardstock between. These will reinforce the ears and help them stand up.
Step 3
Cut one slit on each side of the Santa hat. Slip one ear into each slit. Glue in place along the open seam. Let dry.
