- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- Optional: nuts, marshmallows, raisins
Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler, stirring in condensed milk. When mixture is melted, add vanilla. You can also add nuts, marshmallows, raisins, etc.
Pour mixture into an 8x8 pan, lined with wax paper. Cool in fridge for at least two hours, then turn over onto cutting board and cut into squares. Store fudge in fridge.
Variations: Use white, milk-chocolate or peanut butter chips instead!
Donut Holes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 pinch salt
- Oil
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar and baking powder. Make a well in the middle and add eggs, milk, salt and vanilla. Beat ingredients together. When firm, work mixture with your hands and roll onto a floured board about ¼“ thick. Cut donuts into 2” rounds and make about 3-4 small slits in each round. Heat oil to about 360 degrees and fry in small batches, turning once, until golden brown. Place on paper towel to absorb extra oil and then sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. If possible, serve warm.
