Yo Gabba Gabba has been on in the States for quite a while now
It is a good show. It teaches the children how to take turns, play nice, share, eat healthy
    and so on.
Plus they incorporate dancing which is good
It is not bad, my kids love it.

My daughter doesn't seem to be too interested.....she does the same thing to this show as she used to do with teletubbies....turn off the TV.

My kids like the show, and at least the show teaches good things (like brushing your teeth, eating all your food, etc) and speaks literate english and doesn't mumble like other shows that I avoid like the plague.

I actually used the whole 'party in his tummy' thing to get my oldest boy to eat all of his veggies. I can't believe that actually worked! :)

Both my girls seem to like it and were singing some of the songs from it.  I'm not sold on it yet though.

Not impressed, but maybe I'm too picky.

    Objections:
-the host isn't, but every child on the show is white
-a little thing, but the show I watched today had the numbers going from left to right and they were counting while someone moved from right to left across the screen, really bad for all the early literacy/directionality skills
        - there was a song about my family and there were animations of white mother, father, brother and sister, no suggestion that a family could have any other configuration
        - when you get hurt, just shake it off? I don't know what problem I have with this, but it's just feeling a little creepy.

I really wanted to like this show, partly because of the time slot, and partly because my little one loves shows like this (Boohbah, old Barbapapa episodes) but I won't put it on again, I'd rather show a Mighty Machines episode.

As an educator, and mother of 2, I am appalled that Treehouse would even consider a show such as Yo Gabba Gabba to be included in their network's show.  It is not educational nor is it of any quality.  Whoever okayed this show, along with In the Night Garden needs to be canned because no child should EVER be explosed to this FILTH!  It is absolute garbage.  Thank goodness my family owns a PVR system and when this trash comes on I can put on other quality programming such as Go Diego Go, Franklin, Backyardigans, Toopy and Binoo, as well as Little Bear, and Dora.  These titles I just listed have great lessons for kids, are colourful, imaginative and worth watching.

SO DISAPPOINTED That treehouse would add Yo Gabba Gabba as well as In the Night Garden to their schedules.

I've seen the last two episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba and I absolutely love them as much, if not more than my son. I only wish the shows were longer.
It features some talented artists and musicians that I personally admire and I hope to see more.

I am really not liking this show, it has caused my daughter to have nightmares.  Yo can tell it's cheeply made, I don't think that toddles need to see gangsters rapping, I wished they'd pull the plug on this one and get back to the normal quality programs like Little Bear or Timothy Goes to School!!  I'm sure it won't last long......please let me know who agrees with me!

My 2 year old is terrified of this show and I can't say I blame him.  Pretty weird.  Won't be watching it.  My friend Rabbit is SO much better.

My 11 month old son is completely afraid of the opening credits to the show-especially when the DJ pops up from the bottom of the screen. He starts whining and crying...I've learned to change the channel quickly as soon as Play With Me Sesame is over!!!!

That's an unfortunate cultural reference. It's in Caillou certainly.
Other 2 parents. boy, girl families include The Berenstain Bears, Maya and Miguel, Arthur,Franklin and you could argue Dragon Tales  and Max and Ruby even though the parents are physically absent .

I missed this one. Did it refer to physical or emotional hurt??

I used to be such a sweet sweet thing
Till they gotta hold of me.
