allie_mom_05@yahoo.ca:Oh please. I watched Sailor Moon when I was a kid and it didn't damage me. If I could find it anywhere and my kid wanted to watch it she would too! And I take it that since you know of the violence and "romance" in it that you must've watched it. That's why we lost all of our shows. PPl being hypocrites.
I watched SM as an adult. I was better able to judge the suitability of the show for a pre-schooler. I'm not being a hyprocrite. I'm being a parent. If you look round YouTube there are plenty of episodes there. AAnd a lot of times, "we lose our shows"because they stop being popular with thier target audience, no other reason.
If it was good enough for me, than it's good enough for my kid.
I used to stick my fingers in electrical sockets, not something I would recommend for my kids....Not that long ago (150 yrs!) 5 YO CHILDREN WERE SHOVED UP CHIMNEYS BECAUSE THAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THIER PARENTS...STILL DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT.
My daughter actually stopped watching Treehouse when she discovered teletoon retro. Alvin and the Chipmuncks, Bugs Bunny, The Raccons, the old spiderman, Smurfs. A lot of our old cartoons, the good ones, way way better than teletubbies lol.
Not knowing how old your daughter is..however I'm pleased she's found a channel she likes to watch.
You will find most of those shows are American not Canadian nor British.
