Summer Activities, What is your favorite?

    Hello everyone.

As the beautiful weather slowly but surely makes its way upon us, I am wondering what are some of your child's favorite summer time activities and/or day trips?

Swimming for sure! She loves animals, so hopefully we'll be heading to the zoo, and Mountsberg (it's a bird sanctuary outside of Milton, ON), African Lion Safari, the butterfly conservatory in Cambridge.

I can't think of anything but swimming. Maybe reading a book or something.

The girls will be in camp for a few weeks and DS in garderie.

Apart from that thein-laws may be over, so we'll spend some time with them.

The rest of the time, local beach, playgrounds, play-dates and sleep-overs. In the garden also .

I used to be such a sweet sweet thing
Till they gotta hold of me.

    Girls signed up for camp.

The in-laws are almost certainly not coming over, so we are going camping instead.

I've promised to take the girls to see CoN;Prince Caspian at the cinema over the holidays, possibly with a friend each.

This summer we are hoping to go camping by the ocean, a trip to the zoo, and hopefully lots of swimming!

As we are new to Canada, we will probably be sightseeing as much as possible, perhaps the African lion safari, trips to the zoo, picnics, parks, etc

A couple of weekends ago we went to Lake Huron, and spent the weekend on the coastline, the weather was glorious, and DD absolutely loved it, playing in the water and sand. We were also able to go to the Provincial park nearby, and enjoyed the walks.... so probably do more of that ...Cool [H]
