We had a great time. I had said that we would only go to maybe 2 or 3 houses. Mason had such a good time we just kept going. We made it to about 15 houses. He wanted to go into everyones house. We were lucky it was a warn night here so we didn't need to bundle up. I love Halloweeen. Surprising I didn't have to fight to get the Hubby to come and take pictures.

We had the best weather ever. It was so warm the kids only needed light jackets. The twins had a blast!!! Last year they were too little to enjoy it. They actually walked about 3 full blocks before going in their strollers. The older kids went a block ahead and had their first taste of freedom. It was good for me too...

Hi jsmommy, The people here are great. Your right about that, But when you come from A big city like Vancouver....it's a culture shock!!!! Nothing to do when it is cold and snowing!!!

Welcome Suppernanny, good to have you here, i'm sure you'll find out quick that the people here are very pleasant and kind!!!.

Anyways, I have a bit of a problem...My son likes to throw things. Big, small, heavy, light. He usually likes to throw them at my daughters noggin. And that doesnt fly with her so she ends up pushing him, or hitting. He is only like 15 months old and I really dont know how to punish him....any ideas people??

    thanks

Hi everyone I'm a 29 yr old stay at home Mom during the day that works P/T to keep my sanity!!! I have a soon to be 3yr(Dec.) old Daughter and a 14 month old Son. My husband and I have been married for 6 years now!

My Alex, my daughter makes it her business to drive her Mommy crazy as much as he can, although when she says "I wuv you Mommy!" it makes all the frustrations go away. Jonathan (my Son) is not quite walking yet, but that is ok within the last 2.5 weeks he has figured out how to pull himself to his knees, then to crawl, then to tansfer from different positions(eg. from sitting to crawling) and finally to pull himself up to stand!!!!!!!!! We were so excited for him we were cheering him on....he just gave us his cute toothy grin!

I missed going out with my kids for Halloween, but they did go trick or treat with my Hubby, Grandma and Great Great Grandpa! I was told they had fun and Alex didn't want to stop, but it was getting to cold, Alex didn't want to wear her coat and Jonathan was getting cold hands. Gotta love Windsor, Ont. weather. It was beautiful during the day, but got pretty chilly at night.

I made Alex a costume that she didn't want to wear...it didn't cost much to make it, but I was a little bummed out she didn't want to wear it.

I hope that everyone else had a great Halloween.....now we have to make it through Christmas. Does anyone have any ideas what to get a 14 month old boy?????? I got a few playskool cars, but what else can I get him????

I am very sorry laundrygoddess to hear about your Granny. I really think its a shame that your Aunts wont follow the wishes that she had for a Church service. Its not a time to be cheap.

Our thoughts will be with you tommorow.

I have the same problem SAHD. Mason throws stuff all the time. Mostly when he was told not to touch something he runs over to one of his toys and throws it. He has thrown stuff at me and for fun he will take whatever he can find and hit his brother in the head with it. I don't know what to do about this. I tell him everytime he does it that it is not nice to throw things but don't know what else to do. He is 21 months.
