I'll prolly be suffering for with it for a while, hubbys is a seasonal worker and work days have been become rarer and rarer, right now I think i have the choise to go to the dentest and not have nough money for rent when he gets laid off. Theres a month or two span before IE clicks in so things will be tight. once the season starts up tho so does the money and so does the benifits! My teeth only seem to hurt when i lay down or try to sleep, i bought some ora jell today, that should work. i hope xD

but other then that all is well. Emily is eating something NEW right now for dinner... im shocked! I bought one of every flavor of the gerber next step food thingies... it costed me like 30-40 bucks! but she's eating the one dinner and one of the snacks! hopefully she will like most of them! but time will tell. ^.^

Morning all.... last night went much better. Unfortunately it was cuz all 3 little ones caught colds. That totally explains why they've been so insane. Gotta love Buckley's for a good nights sleep. Only incident was Jon's coughing so hard he's vomiting. So gross....
I'm not the puke parent. that's Daddy's department.
We got down to 2 gates instead of 3, and before bed I told all of them to stay in bed so they wouldn't get an ouchie. Jon tried to climb over, but got busted. Don't ya love catching them in the act... Makes time out easier when you know for sure which one deserves it.
Well, with 3 kids doped up on Jack and Jill, dishes already done and laundry in the washer and dryer, maybe today will be better. Who knows. It's almost 9 am here and I've gone incident free so far.
Laundrygoddess, I use Purex. 64 loads for under $15. I used to use Gain, but when we average 3-4 loads a day Gain was a money pit. Purex smells almost as good, and when paired with Bounce, makes the whole house smell amazing for days.

    Good Morning.

That sucks MissyEmily. I totally understand the money woes though. Hubby has picked up a new hobby, Racing pocket motercycles . He fell about a month ago and he has done some damage to his hand and may need to have surgery. Problem is he can't get to see the specalist until February. He can hardly make it through the day at work because of pain. So he is home a lot now. I am thinking its time for me to go back to work so the money can start coming in again. I don't think he is ready to be a stay at home dad. I am not saying he is a bad father cause he is a great daddy. But he is forgetful lol. So we will have to see what happens with the CT scan and go from there.

I am glad fivepack1977 that you are having a good morning. I could not imagine having 5 kids. Tornado Mason does enough damage on his own lol. Its too bad the kids are sick. I think Mason is catching the cold I had on the weekend.

We use Purex as well. I am not fortunate to have a washer and dryer in my appartment I have to take it down stairs . Its such a pain to do laundry. I have to get Mason in the stroller and drag him downstairs. I have now started to leave the laundry for after Doug gets home so that I don't have to take him with me. Its actually nice I get 10 minutes alone to fold laundry. I kind of look forward to laundry day lol

OH NO!!!! CRISIS IN THE MIDDLE CANADA!!!!!!BROKEN LAUNDRY HAMPER ALERT!!

LOL, I hope you manage Laundrygoddess, and sorry to hear about the early morning wake up call. My son for the 4th day in a row has slept in until 8:30!!! I think it has to do with the clocks but i'm not sure.

KIDS NY-QUIL, works wonders for my two little ones. After 30 mins of taking it they are sleeping like a bear in the winter. It clears them up, and makes my night just a tad better.

Massonsmommy, I am forgetfull, a lot of the time. But I am getting better and things around here are getting done a lot better. Sometimes I just cant find enough time in the day to get it all done. Laundry day here today and boy have I got my work cut out for me. And also you may have tornado Mason, I have Hurricane Jordyn and Tropical storm Keith!!! LOL, anyways guys I hope you all have a good day!!!

I always leave everything for nap time. I am lucky that Mason naps from 12-2:30 everyday. So thats when I get housework done.

Oh I know its lucky that he sleeps so long. Everyone I talk to is amazed that Mason sleeps for so long at his age. I actually have to go wake him up at 2:30 or he will sleep until five and never go to bed. I wasn't as lucky today he woke up at 1:30 today. But I was finished housework and we had a fun afternoon

ok i havent been able to post for a while because i couldnt log in, so this will be a bit late. i have an idea for the pooing on the floor thing. when my daughter did it i would take her with me to pick it up and have her follow me to the toilet to dump it in. this showed her where it was suposed to go. she was trained in 3 days. she cries when when she peed or pooed on the floor as she was embarassed. show them where it goes and they will prolly catch on quicker than you think. good luck.

I will try that next time we have a mess on the floor. Thanks spiderman.

Morning all. AAAAAHHHHHH what a morning. It started out at 12 30 this morning. Mason woke up and was screaming like I have never heard before. That went on for about 45 minutes then he calmed down enough for me to go back to bed. We were up at 7:30 and he is in a bad mood. He almost broke the tv and the dvd player and threw stuff around the room. So that was it we went to the grocery store. I get what we needed then I find out that there is a problem wtih the bank. Now hubby has to leave work to go sort out the bank. I have a headache that is turning into a migraine and my house looks like a toy store exploded. I think I will leave it for hubby and take a nap.

I hope everyone is having a better day than I am.

    Hi everyone,
I'm just going to jump right on in.
I'm Carolyn, Mummy to Aidan (5, with Autism) and Ewan (2, almost 3). We're in Brampton, Ontario.
We've finally got Aidan potty trained, but it took absolutely forever and even now we're having issues with him wiping himself... but in all fairness, we've got the whole disability thing to contend with. Now Ewan, we're planning on starting when he turns 3 in January... I know that's kind of late, but he's just been so resistant. He throws himself right on the floor when we bring him into the bathroom to talk about the potty. We're currently living with my parents (hopefully only for another 6 months or so), so we can't let him do the bare butt thing.... Any suggestions?
I'm mostly a SAHM, taxi to and from therapy, Early Years Centre and school, but this afternoon I've actually got an interview for a part-time job (wish me luck)....

Afternoon all... Nice to meet you Carolyn... Twin terrors are at it again. I think my kids moved out and replaced them with evil clones while I was sleeping. For 2 weeks straight now they have gotten into everything. Childproofing almost seems like a waste. If there's a way to get at it, they will find it. They even get out of a triple, yes, triple gated door. I know everyone is wondering why? Cuz the door doesn't close properly and they will kill each other if I let them loose. I often think literally.
They've forgotten how to be gentle, and for kids that don't watch wrestling they are very good at it. Where do they get the energy? I'm 29 and from what I've been told, at my age I should be able to keep up. Problem is there's too many of them and only one of me. Any one else finding their balls of energy could give the energizer bunny a run for his money?

Thanks spiderman, but I still need a nap...lol.... Today I tried letting them have quiet time instead of napping. Within half an hour everyone was back in the livingroom asking to watch Cinderella...again... Well at least it wasn''t Matilda. We have that one memorized.
I'm starting to think I won't be sitting at Christmas dinner again. I was hoping the twins would have calmed down by now, but nothing seems to work with them. They feed off each other and always have to one up the other too. I swear, if I had the twins first my nick name would have been 2 pack...lol...
