When I was a child, I have no problem taking a bath. I was a baby  then, I didn't cry at all.  I wasn't scared at all. Now I take a shower.

 

Gee, I wonder why your daughter is scared of baths.

There are many reasons a 2 1/2 year old wouuldn't like a bath. Especially when it's a transition from a baby bath to an adult sizes one.

Size, depth, different texture of the bath. The taps, the plug-hole( will I go down that too?). My bath has a whirlpool on it, that frightens children because it's noisy.

Dd2 was afraid of taking baths, she always thought that once we let the water go down the drain she would go down too. She cried and screamed  everytime she had to have a bath. Now she absolutely loves baths.

My 1 year old rips off her clothes as soon as she hears water running, or passes by a tub. Recently i told her, ok, bathtime, i will race ya there! She was naked and almost in the tub before i got off the couch lol! All kids are different. My 13yr hates showers, and takes hrs in a bath....thats after begging for him to get one!!
