Tree Boards - Message Board Rules

Welcome to the Tree Boards! This is your place where we welcome parents to share thoughts and ideas, ask for and share tips and advice with other Treehouse Parents. There are a few guidelines we have in place to keep the boards safe and fun for all. All the Tree Board Members are expected to follow these rules:

Rule #1: Be Nice!
Don't tease, insult or be disrespectful towards other members, people – including hosts and personalities of the shows or groups of. Do not name call or post personal attacks either. Treat others how you want to be treated.
You are encouraged to post your opinions, however, back up your arguments in a constructive tone and manner. Don’t bash or disrespect the differences of opinions of our other members.
Intentional negative or derogatory remarks are not allowed. Please be sensitive to other people. Everyone is different, so please keep that in mind.
Remember - everyone's entitled to their own opinion, so don't criticize others for liking something you don't. Constructive criticism is better appreciated.

Rule #2: No inappropriate language
No swearing. Using symbols to represent swearing isn’t allowed either.
Messages containing obscenities or profanities are not allowed.

Rule #3: No unpaid advertising or solicitations.
Links posted to unpaid advertisements or other sites will be removed from posts.

Rule #4: No multiple accounts.
If you sign up with more than one account, it will be deleted.

Rule #5: Personal Information
Please do not divulge personal information about yourself. Keep things like your name, address and e-mail private from other members for your own safety.

Rule #6: Personal Messages (PM)
Please be aware that all the rules above apply to Personal Messages too. Anyone who is using PM’s inappropriately will be given a warning for their misuse.

Rule #7: Duplicate Messages/Moderation
The Tree Boards are moderated during business hours. Messages posted will be held until they are approved by a moderator. Messages posted after hours or on weekends will be held until the next business day. Until your message is approved, please be patient and do not post duplicate messages; they will be deleted. Please note that members who acheive 100 posts or more will not require moderation and their posts will be displayed immediately.

Rule #8: No Yelling
Please do not post your messages in ALL CAPS. This is considered yelling and is difficult to read.
All posts that break rules will be deleted or modified without warning.
Members who continue to break the rules will be given a warning and notified by Personal Message. Moderators also reserve the right to ban user accounts if rules are broken.
