I personally have not seen the show, I don't have satalite anymore my son just watches treehouse dvds

    Please don't prejudge the show.

. but if the show is like teletubbies
i would want it taken down,

The show is made by the same company but is nothing like Teletubbies or Boohbahs.  However there are very many parents, like me, who want to keep this show. The fact you havea view doesn't mean Treehouse has to act on it.

my niece use to watch teletubbies and she talked like a baby until she was 10

There is probably far more than watching a programme to make your niece use baby-talk. She either found a way to upset her parents  or she had/has a medical condition.

My 3 of mine watched Tubbies, Boohbahs and ITNG. All mine are bilingual English/French.

My son loves franklin so please put it on for
when i do get satalite again.

Much to our dismay, Franklin is shown to Treehouse and has been for a long time.
I used to be such a sweet sweet thing

My name is David , I am 30 yrs old, and have 2 nephews with another on the way.  I am in agreeance with this request to remove
In The Night Garden from the current programming list and future lists. I beg of all viewers to watch all the programming that your children are absorbing like sponges that can not be rung out.
If you do, and are watching it with them.  Ask yourself what they are learning.  This is a true observation.  If you find my comments to outrage you, swallow your pride and open your eyes to the hypnotic colours, repetitive
ideas expressed oddly throughout most of the programming.  What is the educational value, if there is value, then what is education.  Please watch this programming closely,  More to come, oh yes more to come.

I DISAGREE!! I think it's a fun show! Not everything kids watch needs to be educational. Perhaps you should turn the TV off and do something with your child if you're that concerned!

Are you aware of the age range for this show?  This is meant for "babies" and when it is viewed in that light, it is ABSOLUTELY VALUABLE programming.  If an educated adult views this program, you will note that is address all the important milestones that an infant should develop within their first three years.  I'll name a few:  Understanding of different feelings, (ie. affection - which there is plenty of on the show - and we ALL know that today's world needs more of that...self accomplishment, happiness, sadness, etc); social skill development (ie. helping, teamwork, empathy, respect, etc.), life skills (ie. bathing, brushing teeth, following rules, etc).  Do I really need to go on?  You don't need a psychologist's education to figure the show out...and remember, a "babie's attention span" is a work in progress.  Give the show a break...or at least another look with OPEN eyes.  Education starts somewhere.

Okay guys...lets be honest here and think about this...

stop complaining and/or debating, whatever you guys want to call it.

Its a good show, its a bad show, yes everyone has their own opinion and thats fine but ask Treehouse to take a show off the air because YOU think they should... OH PLEASE. HAHAHAHA
Treehouse is an incredible station that deserves to be recognized for doing your job for you (teaching/babysitting) and thats not saying that my child doesn't watch it cause OMG yes she does Im just saying...let it go, let Treehouse do their job which they have been doing an amazing job of so far.

    Thanks!

Good grief, it's a children's show! Who cares if its educational or not? Just let them enjoy it if they like it so much. Not everything has to have a lesson you know.
It stinks! It stinks! It stinks!

    Yes, Mr. Sherman, everything stinks.

My son absolutely loves this show and it's at the perfect time in the evening to relax just before bed.  Not every show has to be super educational, although I agreee with others who have suggested that it indeed does have educational value, especially for its target age group.  It is just a fun show to watch.  Think about your own tv habits?  Do you always watch educational shows?  I suspect that you don't.  It's ok for kids to watch for pure enjoyment too.  The show certainly does no harm.  So if some kids like it, why take it off the air?  If you don't like it for your kids, that's ok too.  Just don't watch.

If you are looking for educational programs then watch someting else. This show is for the pure enjoyment of little kids that like bright colour and like to see things that are not fighting but showing love to one another. I suggest you get your educational time on maybe two and 1/2 men or mad tv.another words do something else with your kids for this 1/2 hour and turn off the tv.

Re: Get Rid of In the Night Garden: Without talking we have.......that's right an international language!

Seriously! I can't believe that this is the arguement! Both my boys (under 2) Love In the night Garden! It's their down time. I get it ,at first I couldn't figure out what we were watching with all the werid names and noises, but the kids couldn't even move they were/are so into it(that doesn't happen). I love it and as for what it teaches! Everyone is equal and loves eachother! Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy kiss so much my son hugs and kisses friends kids! The only part I still feel puzzled about is the birds?? why the birds???
I think maybe your kids are a bit older and your forgetting that younger kids are watching!
Without talking we have.......that's right an international language!

POCOYO: Makes my 1yr old laugh, kick and smile from ear to ear! It's the cutest character on any of the channels.Saying that it doesn't teach is wrong. The narating leads to questions which leads to problem solving!

I can sit here are tell you the same things about "Little Bear" and "Franklin" that I don't want it to be on so much, but only becuase my kids aren't there yet.

So what you all really need to be saying is that we need more channels for different age groups.

What! Are you kidding me? My daughter LOVES THIS SHOW! Yes, she is younger and just adores the characters. It's calm and gets her in the mood for bed, the purpose of the show!  She cuddles and loves blowing kisses and hugging while watching the show. If you actually sit there and watch it, it is an extremely clever show and really caters to younger children. My daughter only likes this show because she is still so young and can relate to it.

    PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ON!
