    In the Night Garden Merchandise?

First off, my kids love this show and it sets them up well for their night time routine (so I love it too!).

Does any one have a line on where we can find ITNG merchandise? Plush toys, DVD's, etc. I tried a few internet searches. but haven't come up with anything yet. The In The Night Garden site has a list of merch .. but no instructions on how to buy.

    Any guidance out there?

I think you might have to wait until the merchandise travels across the pond to our shores here. There are plenty of toys and items available in the UK. One option is to order via the internet and have it shipped across, however, most places will not do so. Or if you know someone living in the UK, get them to buy some items for you and have them shipped. Stores that stock ITNG merchandise in the UK include Amazon.co.uk, Toys R Us, Early learning Centre, Argos, Tesco, Mothercare, Boots, and probably many more :)

Hi! I just bought a couple of things form eBay.ca from the UK. The shipping was fairly reasonable. I just bought an Iggle Piggle little toy that came to about $15 total, and a set of 6 mini books that came to about $19...maybe a little high but I won't go crazy. My son got SO excited when he saw the doll! I also got a CD from amazon.ca for about $19 with shipping. Now I'm going to stop. My son really enjoys the shows but he may outgrow them anyday, and he doesn't know that he's missing out on a huge talking/singing Iggle Piggle.  I think you may have to wait until the stuff becomes available in stores in North America if you don't want to pay too much, or make your own magnets/books/puppets/placemats, etc. if you're a bit crafty by downloading the colouring/bookmarks/screensaver activities on this website. Good luck!

Hi - my daughter LOVES "In The Night Garden" as well and can't get enough of it! I too had a difficult time finding ITNG merchandise but was successful on Ebay. I typed in the character's names under "search" and came up with a lot of stuff. The prices are quoted in pounds because they come from the UK; which in Cdn dollars works out to about double - example: 3 pounds = 6 dollars, etc. Shipping is a bit pricey too but the smile it put on my little one's face is worth it. Good luck!

I came across that with Teletubbies. My in-laws spent $100's on Tubbies stuff that DD1 out-grew and as neither DD2 nor DS were bothered about I ended up giving away practically new toys, videos etc.

Since then I have only bought a few things of the current show of choice, Except for  Thomas, we have a lot of trains and tracks though.

We also came across tthat with the Wiggles. We spent lots of money on Wiggles. Dd1 outgrew and dd2 has no interest in them. I have only bought a few things from dd2's favriote show, except for Curious George we have lots of stuff.

Okay, I thought I was obesessed with making our daughter happy... I was looking on e-bay - and there is a lot! However, my husband came home yesterday
with the annoucement that he ordered a 12" talking upsy daisy doll from the UK - they will be happy to ship to canada (I'm sure we'll get the items before xmas!)
and the prices are not bad on some items.  The web site is: http://www.digitalstores.co.uk/ragdoll/home.jsp - and after yelling at him for ordering the TALKING
and more expensive doll (there is a smaller soft one for about $14 CDN) I ordered a plate/bowl/mug set, some undies, and a pair of pj's... maybe a little overboard,
but I figure the baby will like it too one day!  Good luck and happy shopping!

I believe the main UK site is http://www.inthenightgarden.co.uk this appears to be the official site for In the Night Garden toys, they appear to have details on the products but I don't think you can buy them from there.  Sites that you can buy In The Night Garden products are www.thenightgarden.co.uk and www.in-the-night-garden.co.uk but I don't think these are official.

There was actually a very good selection of toys (dolls, figures, etc) at Toys R Us yesterday.

Treehouse has been showing clips saying that you can now purchase Upsy Daisy, along with the rest of the characters...I'm wondering if anyone has found them anywhere besides
on Ebay? My daughter is almost 2 and LOVES Upsy Daisy and my Mom is looking to buy the doll and give it to her when we go on vacation (we're taking a train from NS to Ottawa) :)

PLEASE HELP ME FIND AN UPSY DAISY DOLL!!!! :)

Re: In the Night Garden Merchandise?

Confirmed folks!!  Playskool is distributing "In the Night Garden" products
(at least they are in Toronto - Victoria Park & Lawrence Ave E).

My wife and I were at a "Toys R Us" and saw a Makka Pakka small plush doll at the cashier in the return to shelf pile. We couldn't believe our eyes or our luck.

Turns out this stuff is flying off the shelves. The cashiers and workers have never heard of the show and are wondering why they are having such a run on these items.

Here is what I saw there:
    • Small plush toys (4") - Iggle Piggle, Upsie Daisy, Makka Pakka (but I took the last Makka Pakka) .. sorry :)
    • Medium plush with sound (8") - Iggle Piggle & Upsie Daisy
    • Figurine Set including all the characters except the Pontypines

Good luck and thanks to all that responded.

Contest has now stopped. I wonder if they'll post the winners. They haven't poosted winners for contests for the last 6 months or so.

    That figures!

I can never get over how little the average worker in Toys R Us knows about the products.
