    3 year olds and clothes.

DS has decided that he can dress himself without any help. However todays effort included trousers( pants) on back-to-front and inside-out socks. He managed his t-shirt and cardigan fine.

yesterday he left home without trousers as he had put his snow suit on instead I really can't wait now for him to both choose his clothes and dress himself without my help.

I used to be such a sweet sweet thing

DD loves to dress herself too..
I taught her to check for the labels in pants and tops, and make sure they are the back, since then she is usually good with getting the clothes the right way round... :)

Well my daughter is 3 also (in just 2 weks) and when it's time to eat, she limbs on her chair, locks her table into place, puts on her bib & pushes up her sleeves so they won't ger dirty.  She's sooooo adorable.  She can put on her jacket by herself ...and her boots on backwards, lol

Now he's choosing his own clothes. I just have to keep biting my tongue until he works out colour co-ordination.

Is it just me or are girls just generally better at the colour co-ordination thing? :)

DD always wants to wear matching items, and I seem to recall friends daughters and nieces always aware of colour matching...

Boys usually have more important things to worry about... like where to run to next and expel all that energy?

He's discovered my stash of Halloween costumes. He' makes the cutest pink unicorn. I'm almost tempted to photo him for blackmail purposes when he's older.

DD1 would wear things like a bright green top with pink trousers and purple socks until she was about 4 when she was much better .

DD2 would normally want to wear pink or sparkly clothes until she started school, they have a uniform. Though she keeps to pink and sparkles for the week-end.

I thought I had active girls  but DS can really shoot around. I can't wait for all the snow to be gone.

Dd1 doesn't like to wear matching items, if she could get away with wearing pink tshirt, green pants and blue socks she would. Dd2 is better with the color coordination thing.

Dd1 who just turned 4, has picked out her own clothes since she was about 2.  She has gotten better at picking out things that go together, but she still picks out some pretty wild outfits.  She also went through a phase where she wouldn't wear matching socks.  As long as what she wore was clean and she was happy, I never made a big deal out of anything.  DD2, on the other hand, will only wear dresses.  She will not wear pants!

Dd loves pink too, that's all she wears. Dd 1's favriote colour was purple when she was younger, that's all she would wear.

DD1 grew out of pink at age 4 due , mainly, to people buying baby DD2 pink clothes. DD1 still insists that pink is a baby colour.

As far as DD2 is concerned(aged 6) pink and sparkles are the only way to be.

    DD1 likes blue and purple.

Ds tends to follow what I'm wearing, though red instead of pink.
