    Educational Value

Groucho Marx on the educational value of television.

"I find television very educational. Every time someone switches it on, I go into another room to read a good book."

If you are not found of certain programming on the channel, turn it off and read a book with your child.

Or play, help with chores. There are many ways to entertain young children. Mine have learnt as much from a trip to the store as they have from almost every tv show they've seen.
I used to be such a sweet sweet thing
Till they gotta hold of me.
