My son likes watching Franklin as well but I find he gets distracted from eating so I have to turn the TV off in order to get him to eat. I'm an ECE and TV should not be introduced at TV time apparently and should be a nice family time where everyone sits at the table to eat. Just letting you know what I have learned helps the child grow and learn developmentally. Social and emotional development are enhanced when eating all together at the table.
