What kind of animals are they supposed to be? I think maybe the purple ones a bear and the orange guys a frog but im not sure...

The purple one is a bear, not sure what the orange one is.

I'm getting the feeling of " Bear In The Big Blue House" from the trailers I've seen.

I thought it was similair to Bear in the Big Blue House.

It's been on a couple of times now, and dd likes it.

DS has watched it but he seems to be with-holding judgment on t at the moment!

Wonderful new show, very exciting for the 4 and 5 year olds I know.  The writing seems refreshingly clever.  We find it funny as well as the kids.  Anyone who hasn't seen it, should.  The puppets are beautiful.

I don't think they're supposed to be any animal in particular.  They're just puppets.  I love the dynamic between them, the precocious little hyper one and his sensible, calm foil.  

My daughter seems to like this show. It is one of the better shows of all the new programming, actually.

Big's voice sounds like the sloth on Big Big World...

Small looks like a cross between a rabbit and a goldfish. I don't think Big and Small are supposed to be anything specific. Ruby is a mouse (she's said so herself).

The voice of small is, I'm sure of it, tutter from bear in the big blue house. This show is so adorable. My son, whom was a BIG fan of bear in the big blue house, fell in love with the show right away and I highly enjoy watching it with him (I constantly catch myself laugh out loud to small's overly dramatic reaction to everything)

No. Small is performed by Jason Hopley, Tutter by Peter Linz.

Would like to find out what small is?  Anyone know?
