Anybody enjoy video games? My favorites are the original Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro trilogies, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, anything on Intellivision, Pong, the Legend of Zelda series, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas...

I'm not a big fan of  those types of games.

I prefer games like Civilisation and Age of Empires. I also like RPG, I have on called Heratic Kingdoms.

DD1 has a Pokemon game and Little Pet Shop game for her DS.

My kids love video games, too. They play them al the time: When they get up, before and after work, and in the middle of the night ;)

I'm a fan of the Legend of Zelda. I also like to play Uno.

In the sweeet years before kids, I have been known to play 20 hours straight....when I wasn't working, natch!

20 hours!? Whoa! The longest I could play for is 3 hours without bathroom breaks, or 5 hours with. What does it feel like after 20 hours?

Tired, back and neck were sore, eyes ached. It's a good job I was on vacation at the time.


That is why I won't game on-line.

I won't game online, either. My son has a friend who does nothing but play World of Warcraft all the time; it's all he ever wants to talk about. The poor kid hardly ever leaves his basement, and his social life is practically non existent. I've read somewhere that health officials are starting to declare video game addiction at the same level as drug addiction.

One time, his character was slain, and he was heartbroken about it for 3 days straight. If that isn't an addiction, then I don't know what is...

Another great game is Sims Life Stories. Anyone ever played it?
