    remove caillou of treehouse

i know caillou is for kids but i've been watching it as an adult with the kids and it is not suite for kids cause he's got bad influence on the kids. he's always fighting over anything always crying for no reason when things don't go his way wich the kids does the same and because caillou is doing it they thinks it's alright to do it now the kids won't listen they imitated caillou and they are also mean. for example if caillou is been told to do something he'll say no all nasty and now the kids are talking nasty to us and they are only 3, 4 ,and 5  and i don't think i would have to stop the kids of watching treehouse cause it is a good chanel but everytime caillou comes on the kids start their littles games and it start all over again. i just think that caillou should be remove of treehouse totaly. cause we try to teach the goods to the kids but caillou is teaching them to be a bad kids.

hi i would just like to say i so agree with you treehouse is on my tv from 6am to 8pm for my 3 years old daughter and 10 month old son and when caillou comes on my daughter thinks its funny to act like him as she likes to act like all the shows she dances to the music and helps dora and deigo find there way by telling them stuff and when cailou is on i started changing the channel to a different cartoon and i would like it to me removed of treehouse as my daughters favorite shows are on treehouse and i dont want to band that channel from my house but im willing just because the way caillou brings out in my daughter and i seen it with my nephews who are 6 and 7 and they scream and kick them feet and says no too when its on and i starting to hate the word no  so please change caillou with something better for the kids

So, in essence, your argument is: 'I don't like Caillou because he's like any kid anywhere.'

    Golly, that's a rock-solid argument for it's removal.

Along with we don't like it so it has to go!

Another arguement which misses the point.

If you have the tv on for your kids for 14 hours/day, you have a bigger problem than one show which shows twice a day.

That amount of tv is not good for small children.

If you are worried about what your kids are learning from television, then maybe you shouldn't let your kids watch tv. Maybe kids learn from daycare or school, or friends, cousins, siblings. People always want to blame tv for their parenting. The solution is simple. Turn off your tv.

    Parents!

Feel free to use remote control!

My 2 ,5 year old does not like Tommy and Jerry because he does not understand why they fighting all the time. Put we have secret weapon- remote control and everything is OK!

    Caillou is the best!

    Please do not remove Caillou!

Three years ago I started a topic about Caillou. I told everbody that I didn't know much about Caillou. A few people said to me that Caillou cries all the time and I was surprised. Maybe I will watch the show more carefully. I saw a few episodes that he likes to notice something and tells his mom all about it.

I like Calliou, and my children love it!  I was really impressed with the multicultural way that they tackled their holiday special.  Calliou does have temper tantrums (like most normal children), but he learns how to solve his problems more productively in the end.  I'm not sure about some parents, but I think that my children learning problem solving techniques is way more important than never being naughty.

I dislike Caillou as well, in fact I tell my girl if she watches the show "Thats how we are NOT supposed to be have, Caillou is being a bad boy and his behavior is unacceptable" in fact I am trying to teach her through her like of the show that there is conflict in life, but the way he behaves is the opposite of how I want her to be, its kind of working even though he annoys me!!
