Let's NOT get rid of this show. It's great! My granddaughter loves it. I think it shows children how to have fun with simple, everyday things...how to entertain themselves...how to be self-reliant...and it shows you that there are those who don't have everything in life but are STILL happy! Okay, that's my adult take on the show...as for my granddaughter, she just thinks Dragon is funny, she loves the animation (as another post said, clay animation is painstaking work!), and she watches every Dragon episode that airs if we have the television on. I think it's just a fun show for children. Does it HAVE to have a point? As long as the children enjoy it and we're there to answer their questions if they have any, all should be okay.
Oh, and one more thing...I think it's relaxing to listen to and watch. No loud yelling or running around or raucous noise...what a relief. The narrator's voice is perfectly suited for the show, and it's quite enjoyable.
Just my thoughts!
Proud and loving Mommy of my very own Baby Poof.
