i agree with everyone here! i am quite . . . always hold back if i will let my kids watch the New Four Squares. MOst of them are off-keyed while singing. From the New Four Tones to the New Capt. Hopette (?) group to the New "i Have A Poem For You " lady ....AND they look over-acting....which is annoying. No offense, but.... we really like the ORIGINAL CASTS better! What a relief to see the Original 'The Beat Team' intact. (eventhough they look a bit matured, they maintained their charisma....). Bring back the Original casts please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. The new 4-squares falls far short of the old. I would like to the see the old ones back on. My daughter has lost all interest in them. Has anyone else notices how much harder everything is in the new one? The poems are long and the actions are harder. Bring back the old ones.

I do not like the new people they put on four squares my two year old use to watch it everytime it was on now she hates it she doesnt like hoppette or her new recruits. BRING BACK THE ORIGINALS!

Agreed. I don't care for the new cast, especially the woman that reads the poems. Helen was so fantastic with that. The new lady just isnt the same.

Does Captain Hopette have an accent as well?

bring back captian hop, my daughter won't even watch 4 squares anymore because they changed soo many characters,. please bring back hte old characers i'm begging you!!!!!

I agree with everyone here. 4 Square just isn't the same, I know I'm a new member here but my Daughter has been watching Treehouse since she was 4 months old, she's almost 2 now and when 4 Square comes on now she won't even watch it. I do hope the new cast grows into their roles. But I miss Captain Hop and Helen.

TreeDaisy you want some positive feedback well here is the only nice thing I can say about the new 4 Square......Thank goodness the Beat Team is at least intact with the old cast!!!!!
When there was talk before about Treehouse bringing on new episodes of 4 Square we all rejoiced and looked forward to it. No one told us that the entire thing was going to get revamped and not for the better! Come on now children of creatures of habit and routine. They don't like drastic changes. Things need to remain familiar and comfortable.
Captain Huppette.....what's up with that? Can she be any stiffer? At least Captain Hup, Ludsu, and Krankovitch all had personalitys. This new crew just have no charisma at all. What's up with the cheesy piano music with their movements too? How insanely annoying is that?
It breaks my heart to see my daughter get up and clap and get excited when the theme music for this show comes on only to watch her crestfallen expression when she sees it's not the original show she has enjoyed for so long now.

i couldn't agree more, captain hop looked friendlier and(better to look at LOL) seemed more into it. I was not happy with the new change. Even the poem reader before was better and same with the children doing the actions. The old ones looked like they practiced their skit unlike the new one. The four tones I have noticed they kept 2 of the regulars but (no offence) it sounded better with the other 2. At least they didn't change the group of the blue square, or they would have my 4 yr old son to listen to. He loves the light brown haired girl. My 8 mo old loves 4 square but i noticed she won't watch captain hoppette. She liked capt hop like i do. BRING THE OLD ONE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree, it's almost like my daughter has had a crush on Captain Hop since she was 3 months old. Last night Four Square came and the biggest smile came on her face until she saw Captain Hopette. I could tell she was completely disappointed and went off to play with her toys. Her voice and the tone is completely off and obviously the kids aren't impressed. Hopefully they play reruns of Captain Hop.

Captain Hopette is horrible and if they don't do something about it they'll lose the show entirely - what were they thinking???
