I just took my son yesterday to the mall to see Molly and Loonette live. It was a different Loonette, not Alyson Court (I love her!) Does anyone know if this new Loonette is used just for travel shows or if she is now playing Loonette on the TV Big Comfy Couch?

Yea, I was watching Comfy Couch the other day and thought, Gosh, that doesn't sound like Loonette at all, and guess what it wasn't. I don't know who this new girl is but she sure doesn't have the same spunk as Alyson Court did!

The one that does the travelling shows is different than the new one on the tv show...the tv show is now done by a theatre actress by the name of Ramona Gilmour-Darling ...Definitely not Alyson Court

I really like Alyson Court she did a great job as Loonette..

The new Loonette definitely does not have the spunk of the old one. I was going to take my daughter to see he Big Comfy Couch but I'm re-thinking that now.

Its only Loonette that is different right?

I have met Alyson Court, and she is a really nice person.

I don't care for the new Loonette on the tv show nor does my daughter (who is 3) but I did take her to the live show and it was a great performance and she loved it...It was definitely worth it and the girl who was playing Loonette was closer to Alyson Court than this new girl...So go to the show, it is half and hour and I think worth it!

I don't really care for the new loonette either. I thought I was the only one. What happened to the old loonette. Does anyone know.

The old Loonette got to old to look and play the part of a child.
I think she did the show from 1993 -2003. I'm not even sure if she is still doing voices for children's shows anymore...the last thing I know is she was the voice on the Resident Evil nintento game or something.

The new Loonette seems a little less enthusiastic than the previous one. Hopefully it just takes a little time to get used to her.

Alyson Court also does the voice of Nora (noisy Nora) on Timothy goes to School!

I loved Alyson Court as Loonette, and even though i dont really like the new one all i can say is i am happy that they brought the show back on the air. Alyson court has done alot of stuff.

I personaly think that the old loonette did a great job and I injoyed watching her a lot more then the new one. she was full of energy and just more energetic. I wish she did not leave. my daughter is still young so she does not know the difference but I injoyed the old loonette a lot more.

Wow, My older children, have been swearing to me, that this is not the same Loonette, now it pains me to admit to my 2 teenagers, they were right lol. I just know where that conversation will go. But I agree, my youngest child is almost 3 and she does not sit and watch Loonette, as she once did, she now gets up and wonders away, there Goes, moms time for washing dishes! teehee Just thought I shared, I liked the original Loonette better, wonder what happened to her playing this role She was really good, at entertaining the kiddies. I remember her when my son, who is now 11 watched the show, and she was always good at entertaining the kids.
