We miss her too!!! But the new one is starting to grow on us and unfortunately these people can't do these shows forever. I think we will notice a difference once she gets more comfortable with the role.

It will take time to get used to the new Loonette..as everyone was used to the same one for ten years. But the new episodes do have some good points to them too..like having more of Granny Garbonzo...and I like that Loonette now goes to Clown Town.

I agree about the Clown Town part. it gives the show another dimesion and gets the focus away that they are constantly on the couch! Good point!

Clown town is really cool...a bit cheezy, but very interetsing from the same boring couch. I dont think I like the Granny Garbonzo singing bits though. Uh without making her feel bad I just dont think singing is her "Forte". But overall I rate the show 8/10. It is great, and teaches our little ones things too. I loved the episode where loonette threw her shoe off the couch and the dust bunnies were gagging over it...funny stuff!!, I think that was an old episode though....anyways there's my 2 cents!!

The new loonette is painful to watch and listen to, I understand the old actress can't do the role forever, but they could have done a better job of finding somone else. My kids miss the old loonette.

And as for the whole "In Memory of..." It's not Allison, it's someone else and it was also on the old Big Comfy Couch too.

The new Loonette makes me want to stab my eyes out. Seriously. She is horrid.

i've only seen the loonette that's on now - my son's not quite 3 yet. My favourite part of the show is the dust bunnies..............my son's too.

I think we would all be happy here just to watch reruns....The new Loonette just does not do it...I think they should keep looking!

The new Loonette is sooooo bad. She looks and sounds like she's a little slow. The old Loonette was WAY better and much more believable as the lovable cown that we all know and love.

Seriously, when a new episode comes on, I instantly change the channel. I MISS ALLISON COURT!

I don't like how the new Loonette speaks in that patronizing tone that adults use toward kids when they are not used to dealing with them, and they (the adults) expect the kids to be less perceptive than they really are. She sounds like she's trying to talk like a child, but not quite pulling it off. That said, she is new, and perhaps if we didn't have the old Loonette to compare her to, then she might not seem so bad. Her voice just grates on my nerves a bit!

I guess my family is out-numbered, but all of us prefer the new Loonette! I think she's doing a great job and hope that everyone will give her a bit of a chance.

I have to agree with you Bikermom...the Dust Bunnies rule!!! Buddy...BUDDY!!! I think they are so cute and funny and I am so glad they are part of the daily show. Years ago when my son was a little guy they alternated shows with one episode with the dust bunnies and the other with the Foley Family. I did not like them at all.
