You know.... I really think this is starting to get a bit cruel. Ramona Gilmour-Darling is doing the best job she possibly can. She's stepping into some pretty big shoes.
Yes, we've all loved the Loonette that Alyson Court created for us and that our children have adored for so long. But the truth of the matter is, that funding dried up and the show had to be cancelled (at least from what I can find from internet sources). Now, it's had a chance to be reborn. For whatever reasons, the entire ensemble couldn't be reunited. If you've noticed, Taborah Johnson, Auntie Macassar hasn't returned either. Ramona Darling should be given a fair shot. She may grow on everyone. Honestly, watch how she interacts with the children in the "Clowndergarten"... She's amazing. That's the true test. She's great with children. Giver her time. There's bound to be growing pains. She will settle into the role and make it her own. If you're children are that dead set against it, I suppose there are always videos of the older episodes. Mine have noticed a difference, but they are still open to watching it. To them it's still the Comfy Couch.
