I find that the new one speaks very slowly. But we need to give her a chance, we are just so used to Alyson.

We went to the Big Comfy Couch Live show at the Calgary Stampede in July of this year and it was still Alyson Court. It was a great show and my son loved it. We don't like the new Loonette on tv either. We much prefer Alyson Court. Hopefully they will continue to play the ones with her as well as the new ones on Treehouse.

I really dont like this new girl. I really wish we could have the old one back. My son is just startung to watch it so he didnt notice but i sure did. She really isnt as good for the part.

I am sure others have responded with the same message as I'm about to do.. Yes it is a new Loonette. I like a lot of you really liked Alyson as did my son. I also have to agree that she doesn't have the same spunk as Alyson either. I guess Alyson became too old for the part. I think given some more experience playing Loonette, Ramona may be pretty good. Of course not as good as Alyson but like CarolynM said she has some pretty big shoes to fill.

We miss the old Loonette!!!

I saw a new episode a few weeks ago. I must say, I had to do a double take because this new Loonette looks an awful lot like the original, but the mannerisms and voice aren't the same.

It would take some getting used to the new actress, but as they say, nothing is the same as the original. I'm sure she was chosen as the best Loonette out of many, so we've got to give her that credit.

As for clown town...I heard somewhere that Loonette has gotten older too, so now she's allowed to go into town (supervised, of course)

How cool is that? She's growing up!

I have to say that I really like the idea of going to Clowntown to add some variety to the show. The new Loonette, however, just seems to be trying too hard. Allyson Court was more of a natural. Ramona seems to bounce all the time on the couch when she is looking for something - drives me nuts! LOL Fortunately my daughter has not noticed, so I can still get stuff done while the show is on. Hopefully she will grow more comfortable in the role.

I cant stand the new Loonette my son crys when she is on I have not yet see the new one on during the day only at night and most of the time hes in bed before that

I am a new mother to this web site. Even though my son is 2. He loves the big comfy couch and 4 squares. In the morning before work it was OUR time to watch big comfy couch and when the new loonette came on I was not impressed. I don't think AJ noticed but I sure did. I also have a teenager who knew from another room that was the wrong loonette. I hope they either can confince Allison to come back or get a better girl to play her.

No I don't like the new Loonette either. When Alyson Court plays Loonette my daughter and my son are so into it. The new Loonette doesn't hold their interest. And what happened to Auntie Macaster?

I agree with all of you. I don't like this Loonette either. My two daughters use to watch it all the time, but now they don't. Like one of the other mom's said her voice is very whinny. I think they should keep looking for a new one.
