Hmmm, we never watch TVO, so we miss Daniel, but we couldn't beleive how much older he looked in the "This is Adventure Contest" ad! He really has grown up!

We love both of the kids! I think it's kind of neat to see Emily in Role Play too. I'm thinking they must have filmed Role Play before she got the job? Role Play is Sinking Ship Productions as well, right.

Emily is certainly more demure, but she's got that glimmer in her eyes too that she could really stir up some trouble!

I don't like either of them - personally I would prefer a different type of kids for this kind of program.
And why is it necessary to see them so much? It seems like most of the fillers now are either Daniel or Emily. There used to be more Toopy&Binoo for fillers and also Dragon, Pocoyo and Mighty Machines - could we please have some of that back?

ok no offence to anyones opinion on here but i hate the show daniel cook, it shows things that kids learn about thats true but at the same time he never has to clean up after himself, he cant eat without getting stuff all over himself and at age 6 a kid should know how to eat better than that, plus he always asks if he can do things again and then he whines about it when they say no and when he does ask something he doesnt even listen to the answers he just sits there and looks around like he isnt paying attention. I dont know i just dont think it instills good listening or behaviour i still let my daughter watch the show but she is only 16 months so we will see for how long, atleast emily young is easy to watch and easy to understand and relate to plus atleast she is polite even when she doesnt have to be

In our Home Emily Yeung is th favorite She is more involved,Daniel seens like he is not at all interested and he can't wait for it to be over.

I don't like watching either one. I think both shows need to be taken off the air. The channel is changed as soon as either one comes on.

I really like Emily Yeung. She seems more genuine and sweet to me. Daniel always seems like he is averting his eyes and kicking his feet out of boredom. Sometimes I feel sorry for him because the stuff he is supposed to be interested in really is boring. I don't dislike Daniel I just think Emily is a better performer.

We Call Daniel my Daughters b/f and we watch both both I perfer Emilt as she seems more polite and Daniel sometimes comes across as rude(The bowling show he did)

Being newcomers to Canada we are new to both of the shows. We definitely prefer Emily though. Unlike Daniel she listens to people and seems genuinely interested. Emily comes across as an intelligent, questioning, polite child with a real spark to her. I prefer her as a role model for my child and not Daniel.

Neither. Frankly, I find both annoying.

Emily Young is a way better show i vote her 100%.
Emily shows that she listens and pays attenens to the people she is a very smart girl and is the best i think my son likes her much better then daniel cook.

My son watches both of them although he doesn't show much interest.

Personally myself and my Hubby prefer Emily Yeung. We find her more engaging and she has a maturity to her that we like.
Daniel Cook can be fine and entertaining, but he often seems distracted and does not have the same enthusiastic attitude I find Emily displays.

I think Emily is hilarious! Daniel is too, but sometimes lack enthusiasm (which can also be funny!)
My favorite part from Emily is when she is looking at the bunnies and says "I'm pretty sure I've held a bunny before because I am part Chinese!"
I love (and am confused by!) her logic. Editing must be a riot!!

In my opinion, both kids are really enjoyable to watch. Still, Emily Yeung has more excitment in her than Daniel.
