We were really, really excited to hear Thomas and Friends is touring. Unfortunately after checking the list of events I see that they are skipping the Province of Saskatchewan. My son is a huge fan and is now disappointed. I have made a conscious decision to no longer buy him the DVD's or train sets. He can become a fan of one of the other shows .

Um, yeah. I was watching the show the other day and was wondering, if not mildly concerned, why Little Bear has no clothes on while the Grandpa Bear wears a complete suit with tie. Am I the only one that sees a problem here? It's bad enough Max and Ruby's parents aren't on the show, but what the heck is this about?

I took my dd to see Franklin live on Friday at one of our local malls...she was very happy to see it .....I wasn't to impressed ...glad it was only half an hour....Franklin's costume looked like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle....definitely did not look like Franklin ...and the setup was horrible.....there was no organization at all....People were screaming at security guards and kids were getting lost ....It was actually not how I pictured my day....They performed the show in the mall food court...I was there an hour early and got the last table for my dd and I.....so many people were not happy at all ......I guess all that matters is my dd liked it and she had fun!

I was wondering if anyone has seen the Backyardigans Live Show? It is supposed to be coming to our area soon and I was wondering if anyone has seen it and if it is a good show. I find the tickets a bit steep for a kids show but might shell out if it is worth it.

I am assuming yes, but then started to wonder, since they wont be using their own seat, and will be in our laps. Just wondering if I needed to buy my 11 month old twins seats for the Backyardigans, or if I just needed to purchase the number of seats that we would actually be using.

Hi!
I am looking for contact info for a Marcus that is involved with Treehouse Live Shows. We recently had the great pleasure of seeing a Bob the Builder Live show while at Ontario Place. My 4 year old son is his biggest fan so instead of a party and a toy we took him to see the live show at Ontario Place. We had a three hour car trip to get there and didn't realize until we actually hit Toronto that the entire area around Ontario Place was closed due to a Nascar style race (in addition to a wolrd cup soccer finals and a Jays game). We instead parked elsewhere and waited an hour in the pouring rain for a connecting shuttle to Ontario Place. We made it just in time for the show and the pure delight on my sons face made all our travel frustrations melt away.

Marcus is somehow involved with Treehouse Live shows (and maybe with Treehouse programming itself but we don't have cable so have never seen the actual Treehouse programming) as he comes on stage and leads the kids in a few songs and then stays on and interacts with Bob during his stage show. Somehow we managed to leave our camera behind so were unable to get any pictures so after the show asked Marcus if we could possibly get a quick picture of our son with Bob the Builder just prior or just after his next show as there was to be another two shows and one of the kiosks sold those disposable cameras.

Marcus was unsure and asked the production manager who told us that for a number of reasons it wouldn't be possible. I was very disappointed as I knew even the briefest meeting and picture of Nathan with Bob the Builder would be a priceless treasure and memory for our son. I thanked them all the same and our family moved on to see what else Ontario Place offered.

We had just moved away from the stage area when Marcus chased us down and handed us a Bob the Builder book that had been 'signed' by Bob the Builder and told my son that Bob was sorry that he couldn't give it to him in person but that he had signed it and wanted Nathan to have it for his birthday.

It was the nicest thing anybody has ever done and I really would like to find a way to contact Marcus or the Bob the Builder Live show and thank him/them for the thoughtfulness and let him know how much this was appreciated by us.

Does anybody know how to contact him? Or even more information like a last name so I can find him better in an internet search? Any help would be much appreciated.

I've great news to parents who have kids who are in love with the Thomas the Tank Engine Show. There are only a couple of cities in Canada who are holding the Thomas The Tank Engine Show function. One of the shows will be held in Ottawa, Ontario from dates August 17th-August 26th. Tickets are being sold on the website of dowtottawa.ca to purchase tickets for the show being held in Ottawa.The whole show includes a: 25-minute ride with Thomas, Meet Sir Topham Hatt Thomas and Friends, Storytelling and Video Viewing, Live Music, Imagination Station, Arts and Crafts and more, Temporary Tattos of Island of Sodor Friends, Thomas Gift and Food Concessions. The tickets can also be purchased through the website of ticketweb.ca, or by calling: 1-888-222-6608. The price for one ticket is $19.08 and thats including the tax. We took Shelby to see Bob the Builder live on saturday and it was great! It was very interactive and they had the kids singing and dancing, and the free pictures were a nice bonus! I would recomend anyone to go it was a great time! Way to go TreeHouse!
