Getting Dressed For Cold Weather,

Does anybody put on your child on warm clothing?

I made a checklist for all the children should wear.

1. Hat (hood)
2. Coat
3. Scarf, muffler or earmuffs
4. mittens or gloves
5. boots

Make sure your child bundle up so it will protect you from the cold.

potty training 101

hi i have started this post to tell storys of when i was traning dp for the potty p.s it was hard . here is the first story .dp was lerning 1+1= 2 when i told her she had to try the potty . she ran and ran untill my wife forest her on the potty here comes the water works i said as she began to cry. i took her of gave her one of her many stoffed animals put her back on the potty and she stoped. me and my wif were amased to see that the stoffed animal hade done the trick. if you have a comment on this weeks story post it here.

I have a telescope, and I enjoy looking at the planets and stars through it. My favorite planet is Jupiter. I also like to read about astronomy. Does anyone here have a telescope or is interested in astronomy???

Dora, Spanish vs English

[SIZE=7][COLOR=purple]Ok so my kids love DORA but I have a little problem with her. My kids are learning to speak and Dora throws in Spanish all of the time. My kids don't even know English half of the time without having another language thrown at them. I think it is confusing for them to have the two languages in the show. I understand that knowing different languages is important but my kids are 3 and I don't think they understand what Dora is talking about half of the time.

stamp your feet

Bunnies For Pre-school Pets, Very good

A pre-schooler having a bunny is very good. It teaches them to be more gentle and it is also fun watching them for pre-schoolers. I highly recommend a bunny for your pre-schooler!

I had Bell's Palsy for a year

I have something to tell you. Last year I had Bell's Palsy. I had it since May of 2007. Now, I'm cured. I was so relieved. I still have to exercised my mouth, though. Does anybody here have Bell's Palsy?

Teaching About Strangers, how old and how much detail

it seems like such a scary world to live in now a days when kids are snatched right in front of their homes. although we keep an eye on our kids their are times when u think "oh they will be ok for a bit" but I always say "better safe than sorry"

How old were your kids when u taught them about strangers (especially those who approach you in the stores and goo goo and gaa gaa over kids) and how do you not scare the wits out of them.

I remember watching the view and rosie said she used the secret word for her kids and it was a swear word..........she did this because she thought no stranger would think of that. what do u think?

Too Many Moo?, Addictive?

My son of 20 months is way behind in words, but way ahead in gross motor. He says ma, da, more, MAI!!!! (MAIL!) GoGo, and Moo (movie)
The last half of these 6 words are thanks to blue clues, go diego go, and his dvd shelf. Does anyone else notice their young child's keeness to stareing at the television?
My son goes to play group once a week, we go for walk 5 days a week and to the park once a week. But still no major increase in words.
I'm confused!
