Making a mess

When I was young I made lot of messes. I used to leave my toys every where in my room. Now, I try to clean my room any where I can.

Now I'm grown up and I learn to clean the kitchen and the washroom all by myself.

What do you think of the Octuplets that were born a few Weeks Ago?

Jayson recognizes the Tim Hortons logo already, and when he sees a bag from there, he wants Timbits.

We make sure that he doesn't hape too many though, as they use hydrogenated oils to make them.

My son loves to wrestle with me.

I am a wrestling fan, so I have learned how to do many of the moves.

When I wrestle with him, I do the exact same moves the pros use, but I just go easy on them.

Jayson laughs and smiles when I wrestle him, and he doesn't want me to stop.

Potty Training, no more diapers during the day

My daughter is using the potty, when we used to put her on the potty before she used to cry and scream. In the last couple of weeks she has sat down and used it. We bought her underwear which she is really proud of. My oldest it took forever to potty train her.

Ok, my Son and I love canoeing and we were out canoe camping and he decided he wanted to portage into the next lake....Normally I would, but I thought "what if he gets tired 1/2 way and I have to carry everything...I can't drop half and get it later, like I'd do if I were here by myself....

Well, he completed the whole 450 metres himself, carrying his own stuff...

Grampa and Great Grampa must have been sending him encouragement from the Great Campsite in the sky...

I saw(I think on Yo Gabba Gabba)a little boy doing Speed Stacking and my son really liked it. I spent 2 days on the net searching for info on it, watching youtube, all kinds of stuff with my son. He decided he wanted to try it, so I bought the cups, and helped him learn. He has learned fast and is really good.

That is just one of my sons talents and since this is supposedly the "Brag Board", I would love to hear some other parents brag about some of their kids talents.

Has your child ever had any weird obsessions?

When my son, Eddie, was 6, he was absolutley obsessed with the show Murder, She Wrote. He would watch it nonstop. He's 22 now, and still watches it. We laugh about it, too. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that he shares a birthday with the star of the show, Angela Lansbury...

3 year olds and clothes.

DS has decided that he can dress himself without any help. However todays effort included trousers( pants) on back-to-front and inside-out socks. He managed his t-shirt and cardigan fine.

yesterday he left home without trousers as he had put his snow suit on instead I really can't wait now for him to both choose his clothes and dress himself without my help.

Adventures In Potty Training, Or How often will I be cleaning my floor

After this summers futile attempt to PT DS(3 In Jan) by letting him run around outside in vest and underpants I am starting again.

The summer event lead to DS running into the house to put on his trainig pants over his undies to go pee.

So I've started again. Last week. It was going to be the week before but I managed to get a tummy bug that I passed to DD1 and DS. DD2 was miffed as she didn't get it and had to go to school.

So I removed his cloths and put him on the potty. Nothing. Tried again at regular intervals . Again nothing. Explain how he needs to tell me when he has to go. Nothing.

Sunday he sat on the potty by himself, fully clothed. Then he made"pssss, psss"-ing sounds before leaping up and shouting" Look Mummy, pee-pee".
I guess I still have some-way to go.

my child , Danisha . is learning French shes only 4 and she has the highest mark in her class which she is in a class with 8 year olds , think thats awesome? Well,she plays the piano too , i know , you love my child !
AND SHE TAKES GYMNASTICS , she just started! But , shes getting better and she did a cartwheel today!

My little one has taken to the spoon very well, and feeding herself. There is hardly any mess at all. Now she eats beside me, and I can sit beside her and have a cup of coffee.

My little one finally made it into her own bed after sleeping beside me for a year. I thought she would cry because every other time I tried to move her she would cry. It's been a month now and she is doing great.
