RE: Who Wants Wimzi's House On Again, a clue

I REALLY wish Treehouse would bring back Wimzie's House. Out of all the shows, I think it was one of the best. I know SO many kids who loved it, and so many other parents who thought it was a great show for thier child/children to watch. Not only was it funny and entertaining, but it was also educational.

"The Wimzie's House format is ideal for integrating educational objectives into the show's fun and engaging plots. Each show begins with at least one of the characters having a particular project, adventure or problem that triggers the theme of the day. With the three act format, daily issues emerge for exploration. The special experiences of childhood are reflected in the dramatic situations and storylines of the show, which encourage audience participation in the lively activities at Wimzie's House. Possible solutions present themselves, as characters grapple with their feelings and differing perspectives. Act 1 and Act 2 end by songs that reinforce the nature of the issue at hand. As the show closes on Act 3, Wimzie and her playmates have learned more about living and growing together despite their differences." (From the Wimzie website.)

I used to watch this show with my cousin. It's cute, but unfortunately, neither of my kids have gotten a chance to watch it. I'd love to see it back on so they can see it, because I do think that they would like it.

I'd really like to see this show back on the air again too. My mother and I got into watching this show last summer and were extremely disappointed when it went off the air. I think it's timeless and that youngsters of all ages can gain so much from it. It's funny, but even as an adult I feel like I gain a lot from watching it!

I wonder if treehouse would bring it back if enough people expressed an interest in seeing the show again (throught this message board or email petitions?)? Or maybe a dvd might be released of the episodes if enough people wanted it?

If its a matter of space for the show --- get rid of Daniel and bring back Whimzie. She much more entertaining --- even as a repeat.

This was probably one of the "better" shows that didn't get much of a chance to shine.

I do admit, the puppeteering was amazing! I would like to see it once again, at a different time. No Canadian station airs it, and it would definitly be a good contribution to dillu

I am not a kid anymore, and I don't have any kids (not quite ready for that yet - only 23 years old), but I liked Wimzie's House b/c it was fun. It is a very good show for kids, and was one of the better shows on Treehouse. It was right up there with the Berenstain Bears, Timothy Goes To School, Kleo The Misfit Unicorn, Max and Ruby, Dora, and Go, Diego, Go!

I wish Treehouse would bring it back on the air, and not quite so late (the only time I saw it on was 10 pm MST) Or at least, they should have it on more often. It touches on a lot of topics that children can learn something from.

How long ago was it on?

I don't think I have ever seen it.

    Hi, jaysonk

I think I last saw Wimzie's House on Treehouse about a year ago, maybe a bit longer than that. The show was on about five days out of the week, first early in the day (10 or 10:30 a.m. MST, depending on the time zone you live in), then late in the evening (10 p.m. MST).

That was quite a while ago, so I can understand if some members, yourself included, may not have seen it.

    Hope I answered your question.
