Shows Treehouse Tv Should Look Into,

For parents, teachers, viewers or people who believe in the education and viewing of children I thought I would start a new thread.

Many people have told Treehouse TV their thoughts on what shows should be kept, what shows should be removed, kept, what shows we did like or didn't like.

So what about shows that Treehouse has aired previously or have never aired that are not too old or outdated and still hold some value. What shows would you, as one of the listed above, recommend Treehouse look into and consider for a future run on their station?

The shows came be from a sister station (YTV) or from a competing station. They can be from America, Canada or the United Kingdom.

My picks (off the top of my head) are:

Today's Special, Raggy Dolls, Puddle Lane, The Riddlers, Rainbow, Under the Umbrella Tree, Take Part (Lois Walker), Once Upon A Hamster, Fireman Sam, Bertha, Charlie Chalk, Creppy Crawlies, Fred Penner's Place, Sharon Lois & Bram's Elephant Show, Eric's World, Mr. Dressup, Friendly Giant, Little Grey Rabbit, The Wind In the Willows, Paddington Bear (both versions), Care Bears (Nelvana version), Simon In the Land of Chalk Drawings (both versions), Polka Dot Shorts, Polka Dot Door.

Re: RE: Shows Treehouse Tv Should Look Into,

I personally believe that the people who made Treehouse should consider making a sister channel, kind of like Much Music does. Who's all for a second Treehouse channel that is deidcated to showing old shows like Sesame Street, Mr. Dressup, Paddington Bear, The Friendly Giant, Barbara pappas, Polka Dot Door? Those shows and a whole boatload of other programs (like the ones listed above) would be awesome to see on a kind of retro channel that would compliment the original channel.

I think it's a great idea. Who's would love to see Retro Treehouse?

I agree, that would be great. Kids can enjoy some of the same shows their parents did when they were growing up. In the UK, Nick Jr did a similar thing, where between 8pm-10pm they showed a segment called Nick Jr Classics, and pretty much showed all the programs listed in Crazybrits post :)

Some of the shows I would like to see on Treehouse:
Peppa Pig, Balamory, Tweenies, Andy pandy, Autumnwatch/Springwatch, Big Cook Little Cook, Boogie Beebies, Brum, Lazy town, Nina and the Neurons, Story Makers, Tikkabilla, Something Special, to name but a few :)

Re: Shows Treehouse Tv Should Look Into,

I have thought about this many times.. I think Treehouse should bring back a few of the shows that they used to air that aren't on anymore...for me, those would be Corduroy, Rubbadubbers, and Oswald....My kids ask about these shows all the time.

Some awesome shows that I think would do well on Treehouse are... Hi-5, Noddy, Tractor Tom, Mumble Bumble, Bananas in Pajamas, Lazy Town, Hello Kitty, Mr. Men, Nanalan...and I think Dorothy the Dinosaur has her own show, that I know my kids would love! Oh, and Little Bill.. cause that she is just too cute!

Treehouse should bring back Corduroy, dd1 used to watch it. We have it on dvd so dd2 can watch it. Lazy town is a great show and should be brought to treehouse.
