Hi, I'm new to this board. DD turned 3 in Jan.
I can so

totally relate to potty-learning adventures. We have been working on it (casually) for over a year, now. Other moms, at work, or play group are always bragging about having their kids "trained"- at 2, etc. Competitive spirit kicks in, I torment my kid for a while, and so-on.
She is now staying dry for extended periods of time, in her diapers, and announcing (sometimes) that she feels the need to pee, so I think she could actually be ready to start in earnest. She has always been quite fastidious about poo, and usually gets to the bathroom in time. We use a little seat on the toilet, and a stepping stool.
All I can say is be patient. (do as I say, not as I do- OK?)
