    New Shows

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I am very disapointed with some of the new programs that have recently been aired. I'm finding that many of the new shows this last week are like that.  Thanks for listening.

I have to agree!  My kids were just watching that very same show when I came in from doing dishes, and it was actually kind of sad seeing them so interested in such garbage.  I used to always leave the tv on treehouse so when the kids got up in the morning they could watch it while they wake up a bit, but that's changed now until i see something better on there.  I used to enjoy having treehouse as a means to keeping my little ones busy for a few minutes to make supper or do laundry...

Agreed!!!!  The new shows are TERRIBLE. and the timing is worse.  Once kids get into a routine you rely on it   My kids used to love the shows on around supper.  (and they range in age from 6 to 1)

I have to agree as well.  I have a three year old who has taken an interest in this show and I feel it has no educational value at all.  Most of the shows that Treehouse has aired in the past have all been exceptional, but as for this one, it truly is a horrible show.

I agree. I think Treehouse will be disappointed too if they don't change things because there are other children's channels on in the evening that our children can watch.
If this show must be aired why not put it on earlier while the school age children are at school. It seems to be geered towards toddlers anyways.

I understand what you are saying but I have to say I thought the show was fun.  My 2 year old was glued to it and though she may not have learned math or her alphabet the characters demonstrate loving and caring for one another.    Very important lessons too!!  I don't think a little silliness and imagination will hurt!!

Haven't watched all the new shows but TERRIBLE describes "" in the night garden" PERFECTLY!!!!   My three year old's eyes were glued to the tv, but his face was expressionless.... We sat and watched the whole episode. Scary.... Right away it was decided, this program will not be viewed in our home ever again. Complete waste of time!! It should be pulled off the air immediately.

I turned on the tv for my ds to watch the regular shows and it was the gabba gabba one. It was bad. I changed it to a dvd instead. I don't think we will be watching Treehouse much anymore. I was looking for Dora on the schedule and it isn't on until Sunday. My ds was just really getting into Dora and interacting with it. I don't like the new shows.

I agree!  This is the worst show I have watched with my child - he wanted me to contact someone right away to let them know how "silly" this show is.  To think shows like Dora and Timothy have been taken off the air for this garbage!!  I guess Treehouse's standands of learning have deminished!!!!

I tried sending a complaint to the Corus address above, and, wouldn't you know it, the link to send a comment is broken. Poor stuff!

I am glad someone else said something. I saw Yo Gabba Gabba (or whatever its called) and I actually felt nauseated by it. It seems really manic, and aside from being really annoying, I don't think there's much value in it. So far, the only one I feel is ok, is My friend Rabbit. The others are not living up to what I have come to expect from Treehouse. I too have started going to my DVDs.

I am happy with the shows, I am glad that my children don't have to watch a brat boy with his bossy sister with not parents (max and ruby) so much any more, and toupy and binou was way overplayed.  It's about time that a tv station realized that there are kids out there that don't have the ability to watch the other shows do to a disability. My son is Autistic and the new shows are great for him, especialy go gabba gabba, and the wiggles. You can't please everyone, but stop complaining about shows that other kids can only watch.  Try doing something else with them for that 1/2 hour and give my son a chance to watch something he enjoys and can relate to.  You get the "good shows' 8 hours a day, I  ask for 1/2 hour...... If they cancel theese shows I will be very disapointed.  I don't aprove of my young children watching teletoon, or YTV after 3pm because it is crap.  Treehouse is preschool programming. lets keep it that way.

It's nice to see that some-one really has a need for a certain type of show.I'm glad you have found some that helps your son.
I used to be such a sweet sweet thing

I too am very disappointed by the new schedule.  Dora, one of the most popular characters for the pre school set - is now running only on Sundays!
I've been sick all week and to add to my daughter's stress, she has lost her belved Dora at 4:30.  I guesss we'll be making a trip to buy DVD's this weekend.
At least the stores still understand the popularity of the show - maybe Treehouse will reconsider???????  My daughter hasn't watched Treehouse all week,
FYI - Dora is on TVO during the week!
