I agree with you.  They should also get rid of The big Comfy Couch.  What does the 10 second tidy teach a kid, that it is ok to put toys away under the couch.
    Not fans of Comfy Couch.

I absolutely agree with you.  Not everything has to be educational to children.  Also, we must not forget that it is equally important to expand our childrens' imaginations, and this cute, innocent little show throws my 14 month old into a creative little world.  Who didn't watch shows like The Friendly Giant growing up, where we weren't necessarily learning our ABC's, but were expanding our creative selves by immersing into strange little worlds.  Nothing wrong with that at all.

Sorry, but there's nothing wrong with a show teaching children to openly express love and affection.  The world could use a little more hugs and kisses in my opinion.

I feel that you should not get rid of this show because it is a fun show. Sure it has very little educational value, but my 20 month old loves it as well as my other children like to watch it as well. This is a very special time for us as a family other than other special days. So I disagree with the show people wanting the show removed. Thank you treehouse for having a fun show aired.

Just because "Parents" don't get it..........doesn't mean kids don't get it either. My daughter who is 2 1/2 loves this show. Some parents are so
focused on everything their kids participate in be educational that they forget that kids need a chance to be just kids. Children are learning
constantly, even when we don't think they are. This show is great and I applaud Treehouse for broadcasting it. My daughter would be disappointed
if it were removed from the schedule.
A note to the parents who dislike the show........no one is making you watch it, therefore it is quite easy to rectify the situation. Turn your tv off.

My daughter loves the show. She was having some bedtime anxiety so I started PVR'ing it and we'd watch it together before story time. It actually helped a lot. She's 3 1/2 now and has moved onto other favourites, but if she sees it on she'll still watch.

I disagree. My 2 year old and I watched the show twice after storybooks and she paticipated in the show and cuddled with me as she relaxed for bed.

I agree with this. This is the exact context with my 2 year old daughter. This is what we watch right before going to bed. It settles her right down, rather than getting all excited as with Dora, Backyardigans etc.

Maybe you shouldnt be using the television as a learning tool for your children? after all entertainment is TV's sole purpose. If you dont like what TV is teaching your kids, maybe you should try teaching them something. There is nothing wrong with this program as it relaxes and entertains toddlers and babies.

I love In the Night Garden.  My son really enjoys it.  It follows a routine, it is gentle, it is loving.  We watch it regularly in our house. Please keep In the Night Garden.
