I don't know if anyone else has seen these new episodes today but my son Cole and I were looking so forward to these new episodes and I hate to be negative but I was so let down after seeing them today. There were only a couple of the originals from the old shows (thank goodness the Beat Team is still all the same) but where is Mr. Captain Hop? and the Four tones don't seem right without that male accompianient for voice. Hopefully these new ones will adjust to the roles and get more comfortable with it or maybe they just need to grow on me. We will see I guess! The beat team guy has really grown up - his voice doesn't crack and he actually comes across somewhat cool now. Anyways hope others agree with me somewhat. Thanks y'all for listening!

Hopefully, over time we can get used to seeing the new faces on Four Square. But I agree that it's unbelievable Captain Hop isn't there anymore - he was pretty funny.

I really liked the poetry teller, Helen, as well.

I agree with you there. I was disappointed to see that Capt. Hop was replaced by Capt. Hopette. Not my first choice. Also, I really got a kick out of Loutzou and he's gone.

I hope that it grows on me too. I'm glad that the beat team is the same though. It's nice to see how they're maturing.

BRING BACK CAPTAIN HOP!!!!! Our whole family loved him. Now the kids won't even watch it.

I don't know what happened to Captain Hop but all I can say is "PLEEEEASE BRING HIM BACK"!!!!!! My husband thought I was joking when I told him it was Captain Hopette now. Only when he saw the new shows did he believe me. He said he'll never watch it again. Even the kids weren't into it. What do you think???

My son used to love that show and now he won't watch it He's 22 months old and the Captain Hup and his team were his favourite part.

I agree the other foursome of Captain Hop's was way better. This foursome is kind of lame...and they are so slow, compared to the other ones. Even their intro song is slower!!

I couldn't agree more!!! Captain Hup was our favourite and now my daughter doesn't watch (she's 16 months). I'm also disappointed in the Four Tones.....I liked the original 4 (3 women and 1 guy) now it's 4 women......not crazy about it. Same thing goes for the poem reader (Helen).....I didn't mind her, maybe she needed to wash her hair more often (looked a little greasy!! LOL!!), but I find the new one is not as animated with the poem actions. It's too bad that they mess with the shows that we like and don't take our advice with the shows that NEED improving!!! <shrug>
