Get Rid of In the Night Garden

There is no education value or enjoyment in watching this show. It is excatly the same as the Teletubbies and is not suited for any child to watch.

Why did you replace franklin and little bear with this terrible show?

Please delete it from your catalogue, and have all copies of the episodes banned from the station.
Put back Franklin and Little Bear in the timeslot.

    Anyone else out there agree???

I agree with mgrieve.  Get rid of In the Garden and put Franklin and Little Bear back in that timeslot.

I totally agree!!  My dughter turns into a staring zombie when this show comes on.  I see no kind of interaction or enjoyment from it.  It really does remind me of the Teletubbies (the charaters and the way they speak) and that show was awful and only taught baby-talk.  We need to have educational shows that will help teach numbers, letters, colours etc. to our children.  I would very much like to see Franklin, Little Bear or Dora come back to that time slot.

I really do agree, I do not like this show neither do my children, they laugh at the sounds because they resemble someone passing gas. I would personally remove this show as well as 4 squared and put on more Backyardigans, Wonder pets, Dora and Diego...

I agree completely. My daughter will see this show come on and cry if we change it, we refuse to let her watch it because of the zero educational value and the fact nothing speaks any language that is recognized on this planet... save for the narrator.

The characters names are insulting to a child's intelligence.
This show further contributes to the drivel I'm trying to steer my kid away from. Treehouse used to be a place I could count on for the solid educational value of it's shows.

Remove this show, and replace it with Franklin and Little Bear again. If you insist on a new show please screen your programs for the educational value before airing them.

Ask yourself one question. Would you allow your child to watch this?

I also agree.  We now watch Playhouse Disney after bath.  The show is horrible... I don't even understand it.  My son has no interest in it whatsover.

I might of known that nobody likes this show. This show is like Teletubbies and Boobah. This is from Ragdoll Production. It will take time for me to get used to because this show is new to me.

I disagree. My 2 year old and I watched the show twice after storybooks and she paticipated in the show and cuddled with me as she relaxed for bed.

I am also a fan of In the Night Garden.  My girls love it and are nice and relaxed for bedtime after watching, which is the sole purpose of this show.

Although the main characters do not speak themselves, the narrator speaks proper English and my girls have not been affected in a negative way with their speech.

I wish parents would watch this show in its proper context and please give it a chance.

My girls will be very sad if this show is removed!!!

    I TOTALLY AGREE!
Treehouse, WHAT are you doing putting these horrible new shows on?  They are useless and to be honest creepy and a little scary and I don't see any value in them whatsoever, especially In the Night Garden.  The only one of the new shows my son (20 months) and I like is "my friend rabbit".

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put Franklin, Dora/Diego, Little Bear, Backyardigans back on in mornings and evenings so our children don't have to watch that other garbage!

We usually watch treehouse in the evenings after dinner, but not anymore.  I don't want my son watching these new programs.

Why does everything have to be educational for mom's to let their children watch something. My experience with In the nigth garden has been nothing but amazing. My son for the first time went to bed without any fuss 'just like Mecka Pecka and Upsy Dasiy' so there is your education,  it's aiding with teaching bed time!  please give it a chance.

Totally disagree..  My children absolutely love In The Night Garden, they also loved the Teletubbies.  I sure hope it stays on the treehouse network and in the same time slot.
