Little Bear traces the spirited adventures of a curious, imaginative and inventive little bear and his childhood friends. As Little Bear explores the world under his mother's watchful eye, curiosity and imagination lead to exploration, experience and independence.

Tracy Leah Ryan, who does the voice of Duck, also does the voice of Doris on Timothy Goes To School (2000).
Janet Laine Green, who does the voice of Mother Bear, also does the voice of Florence in Jacob Two-Two (2003), Queen Celeste in Babar King of Elephants (1999) and Wish Bear in the Care Bears TV series (1985).
Dan Hennessey, who does the voice of Father Bear, also does the voice of Ragear on Redwall (1999) and Brave Heart Lion/Loyal Heart Dog/Good Luck Bear in the Care Bears TV series (1985).
Kristin Fairlie, who does the voice of Little Bear, also does the voice of Auma on Mattimeo: A Tale of Redwall (2000) and Nicole in Madeline (1993-1994).
Amos Crawley, who does the voice of Owl, also does the voice of Uncle Arthur in Babar King of Elephants (1999) , Alexander in Babar: The Movie (1989), Martin in Martin the Warrior (2001) and Elmtail in Mattimeo: A Tale of Redwall (2000)
Composer Lesley Barber wrote most of the music in the series. The theme song is arranged by Arnold Black but written by Schubert in the early 1800's.
