About the Show
Based on the popular children’s books created by Michael and Betty Paraskevas, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is set in an imaginary place called Nowhere Land. It's a place inspired by the drawings of our heroine, precocious five-year-old Maggie. Nowhere Land is where Maggie and her favourite stuffed toys, the Ferocious Beast and Hamilton Hocks come to life and celebrate the power of friendship and imagination.
Maggie: The precocious, imaginative five-year-old creator of Nowhere Land. There is no end to her imaginative genius. She has made up a wonderful, care-free world where she and her favourite stuffed animals can play and explore.
Hamilton Hocks: The cautious, easily deterred pig. He is filled with musical brilliance, but is easily frustrated. Luckily, he has Maggie there to extend that helping hand!
The Ferocious Beast: The large, spotted, not-so-ferocious beast! A little slow on the uptake, and yet so lovable. He is always willing to help and cheer up his two greatest friends, Maggie and Hamilton!
