About the Show
Team Umizoomi is a new animated
interactive math series for preschoolers. Milli, her brother Geo and their
trusty robot friend Bot are a miniature urban repair squad that zooms around
Umi City, using their mighty math powers to solve everyday problems and keep
the city running smoothly. The team always needs the help of the home viewer,
their Umifriend, that’s you! The miniature size of the Umizoomiz allows them to
explore fascinating environments under, inside and behind-the-scenes of Umi
City. The global urban environment of Umi City is brought to life in a fusion
of photo real elements enhanced by vibrant origami patterns and rich textures.
Each adventure explores math in a variety of real life contexts, while set to a
soundtrack of catchy, preschool punk, “mighty math” songs that reinforce the
math themes explored in each episode.
