About the Show
This is Daniel Cook is a live-action preschool series that follows six-year-old host, Daniel Cook. In this original and spontaneous show, Daniel explores, learns, and creates with everyone from chocolatiers to musicians, and from firefighters to dog trainers.
To maintain Daniel's perspective, a unique shooting style is used throughout the show that keeps the cameras close to the ground. In Daniel, preschoolers see themselves exploring, learning and creating; they see a friend who shares their interests, language and curiosity. This is Daniel Cook.
This is Daniel Cook is the winner of the Alliance for Children and Television 2005 Award of Excellence.
