About the Show

Tipi Tales follows the adventures of four Ojibway children in the Canadian Prairies, nestled against the Rocky Mountains. In each episode, the children must learn to solve a moral dilemma or community conflict, using the traditional teachings of their ancestors. Through these charming stories, Tipi Tales reflects the Ojibway culture and the teachings of the First Nations people.

Notes From The Producer

The intent is to introduce children to the Ojibwa culture and traditions while reinforcing a variety of positive social messages. Tipi Tales concentrates on the Ojibwa people and their intimate relationship with nature.

Every script was approved by Aboriginal Spiritual Advisor, Dave Courchene and most of the voice actors involved with the production are aboriginal.

A latex technique was chosen for the puppets in order to create the most realistic and life like characters.
