About the Show

The Wiggles are children's entertainers that have rewritten the book about how children can be entertained with song and dance.

Sam (Yellow), Murray (Red), Jeff (Purple) and Anthony (Blue) and the characters they have created are now a part of the lives of so many children.

The names Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry  the Octopus and Captain Feathersword the friendly Pirate are as recognised by children as The Wiggles themselves. Fashion or fad does not drive the pre-school entertainment scene; it is an area of entertainment where integrity and longevity are the treasured hallmarks of success.

Celebrating their 17th Year in 2008, The Wiggles have created a catalogue of music, television, video and film that have proven to be modern classics. The Wiggles have always been a touring band, which in part explains the success they have enjoyed. They have kept in constant contact with their public and the public has responded to the music and characters they have created.  The Wiggles is an Australian success story that cuts across all demographics, and has now to spread across the world stage

Notes From The Producer

So you think you know your Wiggles. Here’s a quick list of who’s who on The Wiggles

Sam Wiggle is the yellow wiggle
Anthony Wiggle (a.k.a. Anthony Field) is the blue wiggle (although for a while he was wearing green)
Murray Wiggle (a.k.a. Murray Cook) is the red wiggle
Jeff  Wiggle (a.k.a. Jeff Fatt) is the purple wiggle

The Wiggles had a guest appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly back on October 15, 2004.

The Wiggles song “Georgia’s Song” was written for Murray’s daughter Georgia. (Murray’s two children Georgia and Hamish can be seen in several of The Wiggles' episodes).

Greg, Anthony and Murray met each other at university while studying Early Childhood Development.
